7:30 am, Internet was not working, then called Jeevan and asked him to book a tatkal train ticket for that day evening train from Hyderabad to Tirupati. He laughed at me because we have to book the tatkal ticket one day in advance. i,e for Friday we have to book early Thursday. Then I asked him to book the bus ticket but he said he can't as he was jogging in a park. I thought I will book the bus ticket in office.
9:30 am , Office is too cold because of A/c then I realized that I forgot to include blanket, towel in my bag as I was in a plan to go to Tirupati directly from office. Called my colleague Murali for the blanket but he was already in office cab.
"oh Govindaa!!".
Then Suddenly I realized my brother's office is near to my office So I called him and he was ok to bring the things which I forgot to keep it in my bag.
10:00 am, tried to book online ticket to any bus but there was
no ticket available that day to Tirupati from Hyderabad. " oh Goovinda !!"
Then decided to go on a train without reservation ticket., There was a train at 6:00pm and 6:30 pm so I thought of aiming for 6pm train.
4pm, Locked the laptop inside office desk, left the car in office parking, Aimed towards office out gate. Surprise to see there was no auto available to go to Secundrabad railway station.
I had seen my team mate Nikitha was waiting for the office cab, I had a chat with her and then entered into her cab along with Varsha & Saritha.
Then Varsha & Saritha requested cab driver to drop me at nearest railway station.
If I requested him for the same, he might have not dropped But it was those 2 girls who requested. So he dropped me at the mmts hitec-city. I owe a chocolate to them.
I took local train and reached Secunderabad railway station.
I saw a big Q at the ticket counter, I was sure that it will take minimum 15 min to get the ticket.
I got tensed after hearing that
Narayanadri Exp is on platform number one.
" !! oh Govinda help me !!"
Railway police man came towards me and gave me the ticket as he booked for his friend and he was in need to cancel it. I payed the money to police man and took the general ticket.
In 10 more minutes train will start moving, Then I went to reservation counter and asked for the reservation ticket for that trian, he shouted loud that there was no ticket available for any train that day.
Suddenly one person came to the counter to cancel a ticket. Then immediately I pulled his hand and enquired for which train that ticket was. My goodness that ticket is for Tirupati. So I took that ticket from him by paying money to him and according to that ticket my name was Satish. :D
After entering into the train I came to know that the ticket which I bought was just a waiting list ticket.
Luckily the person who sold me the ticket offered me 1/4th of his berth to sleep beside him, but the next day morning he realized what the mistake he did, because I occupied 3/4th of the berth by the time we woke up.
24 Dec 2011, Saturday.
7:30 am, I reached Tirupati Railway station from there by walk I reached Srinivasam Complex which is half kilometer from railway station. There I refreshed and had break fast. From Srinivasam by auto I reached Alipiri, the place where devotees start walking towards Tirumala.
9:30 am, I was in Q to deposit my luggage at TTD. It was one of the best
Free service offered by TTD, We can deposit our luggage at Alipiri and we can collect it at Tirumala.
10:30 am, I was successfully deposited my luggage, but It took nearly one hour to deposit luggage.
I stared walking towards Tirumala, I met many people while walking, But Naveen, Nitya, Divya were became good friends while walking. But they were walking slowly I told them I need to return same day back to Hyderabad so left them at one place and moreover they were just going for darshan they won't go for head shave.
11:45 am reached Gali Gopuram, the place where we can get token for
free darshan.
There are two kind of free darshan tokens one for the people who directly come to Tirumala by bus and other one is for the people who come by walk. Pedestrians free darshan token has more features like relatively fast darshan, Special cottages like Madhava Nilayam ( only for Pedestrains).
1:00 pm I reached
Tirumala, A holy Place where Lord Sri Venkateswara temple exists.
It took me around 2 hours to reach Tirumala and then I went to collect the luggage but to my surprise I came to know that luggage will come after 2 or 3 hours as that day too many devotees deposited luggage.
I don't want to wait simply for luggage so I went to Madhava Nilayam where one can go for head shave.
There was again big Q, It took me 1 hour in that line. But the guy took 2 minutes to clean head shave, awesome.
I took bathing in Madhava Nilayam and with that wet dress I went to luggage collecting counter for my bag and to my surprise he told me to wait for one more hour.
I came out and I bought a Dothi. Changed into Dothi keeping wet clothes in Madhava nilayam.
There I saw a person he was from my village and he told me that he lost money. So I gave him good money, by which he can return to our native along with his family. I know him. I can see happiness in his face.
3:00 pm,
With that new Dothi I went to Darshan line at VQ2 with the Pedestrians token. There again I saw Naveen , Nitya, Divya, again we had chat in the line for sometime.
Later they allocated us a room, it was kind of a jail where there wont be any option just we have to sit.
Nearly 7 hours we sat in that room. Good thing is for every one hour they were providing us milk, rice, upma, curd, butter milk, etc for
free.
11:00 pm, Finished Darshan. So total 8 hours it took.
I got into
free TTD bus and reached Madhava nilayam to collect my wet dress, after that I collected my luggage and took the bus to reach Tirupati.
Midnight 1:00 am, Reached Tirupati bus stand.
Then I looked into my wallet to buy the bus ticket to Hyderabad. They wont accept credit cards.
After counting all the 10's It was 200/-.
Then went to ATM to withdraw money.
Then I realized I forgot to put my Axis bank debit card.
So in my pocket I have HSBC, ICICI credit cards & ICICI debit card.
Inserted ICICI debit card. no balance. of course I expected it.
With ICICI credit card access denied. So called the customer care, Then I came to know that I can't with draw money from ICICI credit card until I use it for minimum 6months. what the F$$$ I thought. Then Tried with the HSBC credit card, wrong pin number so blocked the card. Tried to call customer care of HSBC. it was asking me to press 4 on my phone. mine was Samsung Corby, touch was not working properly I can't press 4 ,5, 6..what the F$$$.
Called Jeevan and asked him to deposit money into ICICI account but he has only axis bank account.
Then thought of calling sreeram but jeevan told me sreeram is in Sreesailam trip.
Thought of calling pardhu but he was in Airport as he is going to US that night.
Thought of calling Brother but internet was not working at my home.
Then thought of calling my old best friend S***, who helped me many times when I was in need but recently I had a fight with her so no point in calling her.
Thought of calling Murali, Sarvan, Haritha but it was mid night.
Then called Satish (Pardhu's childhood friend and my friend as well) then he said he will do it in 30 min.
Then went into bus stand, There enquired about the timings of the buses which will go to hyderabad from Tirupati, only after 7am I can get the bus.
But I don't want to waste my time by waiting for the bus and not in a mood to sleep.
Thought for alternative. Then came to know If I go to Kurnool , from there I can get bus easily to Hyderbad. To go to Kurnool I have to wait till 4am.
Someone told me if I go to Kadapa , from there easily one can get buses to Kurnool.
Luckily there is a bus to Kadapa at that time but the bus is full.
I took that bus and the ticket was 100/- .
4:30 am , Reached Kadapa, There I can see the Hyderabad bus, I went into the bus enquired about the ticket it was 300/- but I have only 100/- in my pocket.
I went to ATM and prayed to god and tried to with draw money..It was like celebrations to me I got money.
Gave 500 rupee note to conductor he said no change I told him no need of change just give me the ticket. He gave me a different look.( Now I am rich enough to reach Hyderabad.)
Thought of sending a Thanks text message to Satish but my touch is not working so I cant type all the 26 alphabets all the time. only when my mobile permits then only I can type.
Some times I store people names like pppp, qpqpq.
There will be algorithm in my mind by seeing that string I can recognize who's calling.
I can map pppp -> shaki. But If I want to call shaki I cant think of pppp as shaki.
While travelling I started retrospecting myself.
1. Why I forgot to put Axis bank debit card. because I gave it to Suresh and forgot to collect it from him.
Lesson ...Never be lazy.
2. If anyone asks for help (the guy from my native who lost money) first make sure you won't get into trouble by helping some one. I should have make sure that I have enough money before giving money to him.
3. Should have waited for the luggage instead of buying new clothes Dothi so that I might have saved some money.
4. Again midnight 1:00pm I should have slept in Srinivasam complex and next day through online I should have booked the ticked by using credit card. why I disturbed Jeevan & Satish.
5.First of all why should I travel with out reserving tickets, should have planned properly by booking train/bus tickets.
6. Why should I use this Corby F$$$ touch mobile, what is the problem in upgrading..again I am lazy.
God only can save me.
I am sure Whenever I want to visit any temple some how I will get help from unknown or known people and at the end things will be very smooth.
Some people say there is some external power..Some people call it as God. I belongs to second group.
